Has your home been assessed way to high? Mine has and I know many others are in the same boat by looking at the numbers on the Allen County Assessors Web site. Looking for advice about how to properly and successfully make my appeal.

I think the time has come to redesign the FFW logo. I love the classic, steadfast look of our current logo, but it is just more of a wordmark than an actual logo. It says "Freethought Fort Wayne", but nothing about it really stands for what our groups stands for.

Australia ahead of the curve

It appears Australia's school system has seen the light. Instead of teaching the 'controversy' as many people in the U.S. advocate, Victoria's primary school children will be taught that no evidence for god exists. It's a shame that such a course even needs to be taught, but it's a wonderful step towards rationality.

The headline on my Embarq mail page said, "Musical at Iowa college acts out scary Bible tales." I figured it was a play by some courageous, freethinking college theater group that is willing to bring the horrifying Old Testament stories to public attention to show how idiotic it is to hold up the Bible as a perfect moral example, but no...it is being produced at a Christian college! My view on what a Republican must have in their subcontious.

*Lets fill the Ghettos with poor uneducated hungry people. Then give them guns! And then, watch them kill maim and torture each other like we did in the mid-evil days when we killed maimed and tortured people with our religion. We can even get better episodes of cops. And make our selves feel better that there are people more uneducated then we are.*
