Driving around this city of churches, I've gotten to the point where I can ignore most of the silly religious slogans that often appear on signs. My favorite so far was actually at a church in Angola, where the pastor decided to post a quote from Mark Twain. I also like the one that said, "The most powerful position is on your knees."

Well anyways, been trucking my little heart out. Same old story. Been reading Hitchens, "The Portable Atheist?" though. Really liking it. I wrote a nice peice on it on the old board. Been going to the OLD board allot. Hmmmm, I guess I need to dwell in the present more. lol. Happy to see everyone here. I like this format much better then black on white. This seems more educational. :)

went to see this last week, kinda early holiday quality time with some family and friends. not usually into 'toon integration stuff but just had to see what all the christians are sooo worried about! reminds me of the early protests of harry potter=satanism, which is now melted away.

i had never read the books, but was with a friend who had..gave me very brief overview of some of what he hoped the movie would get across. he was very impressed, felt the movie followed the book...
