For me personally, there is a theme beginning to form here... The FTFW meetings are on the same night as my R/C club meetings.. And, March 8th is the annual
hobby show at the colosseum!
Ugh! |

I'm planning on going, but I have to ask...why are we celebrating this event almost a month behind? Anyway, Happy Darwin Day to all!

yeah, happy b-day, Darwin! Had to mention it to my students today--along with Lincoln's b-day (same year, in fact). I've been to the first two Darwin
Days and really enjoyed them, but I probably will not be able to make this one because of a major conflict in my schedule. :(

A request | #7 | ||

I'd love to go check this thing out - you guys are gonna have a great time, I'm sure. My wife's due date was 3/5, and as of yesterday afternoon,
she's not really that close to labor. Fun stuff - they will talk inducing at her next appointment. At any rate, I wish I could go, but clearly can't.
I do have a request, if you're able. I'm sure they will have copies of Carrier's book, "Sense and Goodness Without God," available for purchase there. Could you possibly pick me up a copy and have it signed for me? I completely understand if you can't, and I'd be happy to send someone cash via PayPal or whatever if necessary. Again, if you can't, I'll live. (probably) Thanks and have fun m (PS -100th Post! I win!) |
