The annual (since 1952) National Day of Prayer is scheduled for May 1. In honor of the day, I thought I'd post a few quotes.

As a response to the National Day of Prayer, various reason-based groups endorse the National Day of Reason.
Both Days occur on the same date each year. To mark the Day of Reason, one group in Philadelphia put up a billboard with the following message: Don't believe in God? You are not alone.
Perhaps, some day, Fort Wayne will have the good fortune to sport a similar billboard. (A guy can dream, can't he?) |
