Oh Quirky... I didn't say it was a dynasty, like some kind of inheritance thing, just smells like one. I did however say it reeks of insider-ism, which is
entirely democratic.
I'm with neural in that even though Obama "lost" Indiana (although a 51/49 split is about as close to a tie as you can get without it actually being one), he womped her in NC. As an Obama supporter it's a hard to stay objective about the fact that she continues to "fight" on. The only way she has a chance to even match Obama is to get FL and MI's primary numbers reinstated (despite their breaking their own party's rules). Her insistence in continuing in addition to her constant attempts to reinstate the already penalized state's that supported her (by the way, I don't believe Obama was even on the MI ballot, how convenient) shows the *exact* same kind of bull-headed lack of reality that people have come to love with the Bush administration. It's not an endearing quality in politics, it's not persistent, it's simply stubborn and will likely do more harm in the long run to whichever candidate wins the nomination.
On a final note, didn't her "victory" speech in Indianapolis had a weird tone to it?
