Iowa state Senator Charles Grassley has sent six letters requesting information regarding the use of funds by prominent ministries that are tax-exempt. It seems that the inquiry was sparked by complaints from donors and other investigative news reports. CBS ran a report that is featured on the Religious Freaks web site.
